Day 01:
Arrival at Paro: - A scenic mountain flight will take you to Paro valley (7000 ft.). In the clear weather, it is the best opportunity to catch the world’s highest Mountain and many famous mountains of the region. After immigration process complete meet your guide and drive to city and visit National Museum, Ta Dzong. This infamous museum highlights various feature of history and culture of Bhutan for centuries. The Dzong is now used as an administration center and also a school is running for monks, O/N hotel
Day 02:
Paro to Thimpu:- After breakfast we drive towards Thimpu the capital of Kingdom of Bhutan through Druk Yul Dzong famous for defending the valley from Tibetan invasions. You can see stunning views of Mt. Chomolhari from the Druk Yul valley in a clear day. We visit some other historical sites on the way including Simtokha Dzong before reaching the modern capital Thimpu, O/N hotel
Day 03:
Thimpu Valley Sightseeing – Punakha
Today we take a sightseeing tour around landmark sites of Thimpu which consists of National Memorial Chorten built in memory of late king Jingme Dorje Wangchuck, Textile museum, Changangkha monastery. Later in the afternoon, drive to Punakha, for an exciting tour of ancient capital of Bhutan. On the way to Punakha, the roads climbs steeply through a forest of pine and cedar, festooned with hanging lichen high up near Dochula pass (3050m). You can enjoy the awesome view of Himalaya form this pass. After few moment drive fertile Punakha valley is arrive, O/N hotel
Day 04:
Punakha- Wangdu- Paro
Visit Punakha Dzong in the morning, winter seat of Je Khenpo which is remarkably located in between the Mo Chu and Pho Chu rivers. After a short drive from Punakha we’ll continue Wangdue valley and take a visit to famous Wangdiphodrang Dzong dramatically located on the spur of a hill at the confluence of the Tsang Chu and Dang Chu rivers and head to paro crossing the Dochola pass, O/N hotel
Day 05:
Fly Paro to Kathmandu:- after an early breakfast, take a scenic drive to Paro airport. Bid farewell to your Bhutanese crew and have a happy flight to Kathmandu. |
