Getting into Nepal

Since Nepal is a tiny landlocked Himalayan country situated between India & China; the way to enter Nepal is either by Roadway or by Air. There are several entry & exit points by Land from Nepal to India and China. Immigration office at entry points open 24 / 7 and deliver Visa and other necessary services.

  • Birganj, Parsa (Central Nepal) to India
  • Belahia, Bhairahawa Rupandehi (Central Nepal) to Nepal
  • Jamunaha, Nepalgunj Banke (Western Nepal) to Nepal
  • Mohana, Dhangadi Kailali (Western Nepal) to Nepal
  • Gaddachauki, Mahendranagar (Western Nepal) to Nepal

&

  • Kodari, Sindhupalchowk (Northern Border) to China

By Air

A) Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu

Nepal has only one international Airport in Kathmandu, which is main gateway to Nepal by air. Several international airlines operate direct flights to Kathmandu and connect many regional cities. Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is Nepal’s national flag carrier and connects Kathmandu with number of cities by direct and connecting flights.

15) China Southern Airlines (CZ) Guangzhou – Kathmandu

16) Biman Bangladesh (BG) Dhaka – Kathamndu

17) GMG Airlines (Z5) Dhaka – Kathmandu

18) PIA (PK) Karachi – Kathmandu

19) Druk Air (DK) Paro – Kathmandu

Basically travelers from other region like; America, Europe, Australia, Japan and Africa come to Nepal through connecting flights from above cities.
